Mrs. Joyce Clotene Teal passed away Monday January 25, 2010 in Miami, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.
Joyce was born June 25, 1927 in Miami, Oklahoma to her parents George and Hattie Switzer Kirk.
Joyce was a home maker.
She and her late husband James R. "Dick" Teal have lived and raised their children in Miami since 1947.
She and Dick married on April 1, 1947.
Joyce was a wonderful wife and mother.
She enjoyed walking and keeping an immaculate home for her husband and children. Joyce's true joy was caring for her family.
She is survived by her 3 Sons: James R. and Pamela Teal of Grove, Oklahoma, Ronald W. and wife Phyllis Teal of Clinton, Missouri and Donald E. and wife Glynda Teal of Miami, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded by her Parents: George Edward Kirk and Hattie Switzer Kirk, Husband: James R. "Dick" Teal on November 5, 2008, 3 Brothers: Bud, Jim and Bob Kirk, 2 Sisters: Carol and Pat.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday January 27, 2010 at GAR Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma with Brother Jerry Baser officiating.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Tuesday evening January 26, 2010 from 6:30 -7:30 at Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home in Miami, Ok.
