Charlotte Jane "Lottie" (Large) Wood, 69, of Picher, Oklahoma, passed away at Baptist Regional Hospital in Miami, Okla.

Daughter of Nathan Landon and Alta Florence (Rhinehart) Large.

Married Lawrence Leroy "Slim" Wood at the age of 12, October 24, 1924.

The mother of two daughters: Lavada Marie Power (deceased) 1/8/97, and Betty Joe Little.

Six sons: Willis Leroy (deceased) 8/8/96, Garland Leon, Bobby Lee, Alva Charles (deceased) Died at birth, 4/3/42, James Curtis "J.C", (deceased) died at the age of 11 , 2/17/56, and Larry Gene Wood.

She had to be the BEST Grannie in the whole world. She always had time for the grandchildren no matter what. She stood about 5' or so and my Grandad was about 6 foot 6.

Most of my memories of them was when they lived on the river. Grandad was always bringing these HUGE fish up to the house. Grannie always saved jars for us to put lightning bugs in.

I Miss them so much. You will live in our hearts forever.
