John Lang Bray (1841-1915), went on to graduate from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada West (now Ontario) in 1863, serving in the Confederate Army Surgeons Corps at Richmond, Virginia, C.S.A., for two years, before returning to the Canadas to become a prominent medical practitioner and sometime President of the Canadian Medical Association."
