• Owned: 50 acres of Lot 3 in Concession 6, 1879, Osnabruck Centre, Osnabruck Twp (South Stormont), Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Ontario, Canada. On map as "J. Poapst." Located south of J. Waddel and T. Cook, and north of G.S. Watson. To the east were W. Hoople, J.J. Ruport and G. W. Ruport. Farther north were E. Fetterly, L. Runnions, and N. Eamons.

This land could have belonged to a different J. Poapst.
