Elene is thought to be the sister of Sir Anthony Kingston of Painswick, Gloucester, and Mary Courtenay. Sir Anthony Kingston was Provost Marshall in Cornwell, Knighted by King Henry VIII, 18 October, 1537. He also served in the House of Commons.



Elene married John Prater, son of William Prater and < > Carew, about 1505 in Inglesham, Wiltshire, England. (John Prater was born about 1480 in Eaton Water House, Wiltshire, England, died on 20 Jun 1547 in Inglesham, Wiltshire, England and was buried in Chancel of Inglesham Church, Wiltshire, England.)
