Lawrence Leroy "Slim" Wood, 65, of rural Ottawa County Oklahoma, passed away at his home of a heart attack.
Son of Joseph A. and JoAnn Erman Baldwin Wood.
Married Charlotte Jane "Lottie" Large, 10/24/24.
Father of two daughters: Lavada Marie Power (deceased) and Betty Joe Little.
Six sons: Willis Leroy, (deceased), Garland Leon, Bobby Lee, Alva Charles (Died at birth), James Curtis "J.C." (died at the age of 11) and Larry Gene Wood.
My Grandad was about 6 foot 6 and Grannie was around 5 foot tall. Grandad's nickname was "Slim" . He loved to fish and lived on the river for many years. He always had a HUGE fish to show us. In his younger days he drove a road-grader for Ottawa County, or as my son used to call it "a groat-rader".
I miss you and Grannie so very much. You will live in our hearts forever.
