  Research Notes:

His death date in 1788 contradicts his being a Representative for Dundas in Canada from 1830-1845. That must have been a different John Cook.

May have served on the Loyalist side during the Revolutionary War in South Carolina."Cook, John" appears in an 1885 list of Loyalists who settled in Canada. That John Cook settled in Osnabruck (Township 2) in the Eastern District (Stormont) of Ontario, Canada. 2

• Representative in Parliament: for Dundas ??, 1830-1845, Canada.


John married Catherine Carman. (Catherine Carman was born in 1792 in Kehl am Rhein, Ortenaukreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany and died on 11 Dec 1869 in Berea, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States.)
