From http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:3143362&id=I631844436 : Richard came into possession of Nunney Castle, the Manors of Nunney, Glaston, Lighe, Trotoxhill, and Sharpshawe, (all in Somerset), and the lands from his father in Cryklade, Chelworth, Calcote. Also included in these holdings were 40 farms with dwellings (and slaves/surfs), 30 farms with out buildings, and about 4000 acres of meadow and timber lands, a teniment in Oxford, and numerous businesses which included mills, wool processing centers, and dovecotts. Richard was the major heir of his father, George Prater of Latton, Wiltshire, England.
